I come to Sakana on a weekly basis during lunch hours. I have always been impressed by their wait staff, especially Miriam. She is always fast and on top of taking my order, filling my water, making sure my meal is just right. Good food and great staff. Would highly recommend
The sushi is great, the service is solid, and the lunch specials Mondays through Fridays is unbeatable. The fried rolls are so perfectly light and almost buttery. I usually get one fresh roll and one fried and am never disappointed
Miriam is the absolute best! We’ve been coming to Sakana for a long time. we’ve had dances, anniversaries, birthdays and the whole 9 yards here and every time it’s amazing. The food and atmosphere are great but I just wanna state again Miriam really works hard and makes the night everytime! Thanks Sakana!
This spot never disappoints. The tofu appetizer had some ridiculous flavor which made the tofu amazing. I typically struggle to eat it. The monkey brains was also fantastic with a great fry on them. The steak appetizer was ridiculously flavorful. I honestly could have gotten two of those for my meal. The sushi was pretty solid, not my favorite sushi destination, but very good nonetheless.
Absolutely love this place—such a awesome spot! Perfect for a quick lunch or a fun date night. I really enjoy catching the sunrise here, and my wife, who’s a bit picky, always ends up loving the Vegas roll.
This was our first time here. We loved our waitress. She was very personable and made us feel very welcome. Restaurant atmosphere and decor are really nice. It also felt very clean. The booths are a great option if you want to feel like you have a bit of privacy. We had some wine, the monkey brain appetizer, 3 different rolls, and the Sakana steak entree. All of our food tasted fresh. The steak was cooked perfectly. Our favorite roll was the pink flamingo. Would recommend if you’re looking for a new place to try out.
This is still my favorite local sushi place. They have options for our whole family, both sushi lovers and haters alike. The Fresh Roll is amazing. I tried that for the first time today and was so presently impressed. We also ordered the Yakisoba Beef, Chicken Tats, Veggie Roll, and Rainbow Roll. Everything was delicious, and everyone left happy.
